Oakley Mens Kota Insulated Lite Jacket

Pros and cons

FNDry 15K waterproofing
The two-layer construction with Hydrofree DWR gives you reliable protection when the snow is really coming down.

Critical seam taping
The vulnerable seams are sealed, so wind and snow have a harder time getting through the jacket.

Powder skirt
The fixed powder skirt keeps the jacket in place when you fall or drop deep into your knees.

Vents
Open them when you're working hard and you'll cool down quickly without having to take the jacket off.

Lift pass pocket
The sleeve lift pass pocket keeps your pass within easy reach at all times.

Light insulation
The insulation is fine for typical winter conditions, but on really cold days you'll want a warm mid layer underneath.

Description

The Oakley Kota Insulated Lite Jacket is an insulated ski and snowboard jacket for men that combines protection with freedom of movement. The two-layer construction with FNDry 15K waterproofing and Hydrofree DWR keeps you dry when the snow is really coming down. Critical seams are taped and the fixed powder skirt blocks wind and snow from getting in at the bottom. Vents, an inner cuff and a sleeve lift pass pocket round the jacket off nicely for a day on the piste. The insulation is light enough for an active day, but in serious cold a warm mid layer is a welcome addition.
