A 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water is recommended by 3M for many applications. 3. Apply a thin, uniform layer of 3M Primer 94 using a suitable applicator. 4. Allow the primer to dry completely, typically for approximately 5 minutes at room temperature. 5. Apply the adhesive tape or film to the prepared surface. 6. Avoid contaminating the primed surface before bonding. Porous surfaces may require a second coating. Allow the first layer to dry before applying an additional layer. ### Important Information 3M Primer 94 is a solvent-based adhesion promoter and is not a general-purpose paint primer or standalone adhesive. The product contains flammable solvents. Keep away from heat, sparks, open flames and other ignition sources. Use in a well-ventilated area and avoid unnecessary contact with skin and eyes. Before application, check material compatibility and test the primer on a small, inconspicuous area when necessary.
