Allergeneninformatie
1. Geurstoffen (Parfum & Parfumallergenen) Geurstoffen zijn de meest voorkomende oorzaak van cosmetica-allergieën. Parfum/Fragrance: Zit in de Shampoo, Conditioner en Serum Mist. Omdat dit een verzamelnaam is, weten consumenten met een parfumallergie dat ze deze producten moeten vermijden. Rose Ketones: Zit in de Serum Mist. Dit is een specifieke geurstof (een component van rozengeur) die de EU classificeert als een geurstofallergeen en daarom apart vermeld moet worden op de verpakking. 2. Reinigers / Schuimmakers (Surfactanten) Cocamidopropyl Betaine: Zit in de Shampoo. Dit is een milde reiniger, maar het is ook een redelijk bekende veroorzaker van contactallergie (vaak door onzuiverheden die ontstaan tijdens het productieproces van de stof). 3. Conserveermiddelen & Andere stoffen Propylene Glycol: Zit in de Shampoo. Wordt gebruikt als oplosmiddel en vochtvasthouder, maar kan bij sommige mensen huidirritatie of een allergische reactie veroorzaken. Sodium Metabisulfite: Zit in het Scalp Serum. Dit is een sulfiet dat werkt als antioxidant/conserveermiddel. Mensen met een sulfietallergie of astma kunnen hier soms gevoelig voor zijn. 4. Plantaardige eiwitten (Zeer zeldzaam) Pisum Sativum Peptide (Erwt) en Hydrolyzed Rice Protein (Rijst): Zitten in alle vier de producten. Hoewel dit zeldzaam is, kunnen mensen met een zware voedselallergie voor erwten of rijst in theorie reageren op de eiwitten in cosmetica.
