With Air Max Day behind us, there’s still plenty of time to celebrate the 35th Anniversary of the Air Max line in 2022. The Swoosh has big plans ahead for almost every model, including an upcoming Nike Air Max 1 Safari “Cobblestone” that takes cues from Atmos’ famous collab.
A mixture of suede and leather dresses the upper of this Safari-inspired Air Max, donning cobblestone, worn blue, and limestone. Driving home the theme of a safari is the animal print featured on the mudguard and collar as well as the worn blue Swooshes faux-animal skin. As for the rest of the upper, a mixture of earth tone tans cover the various underlays and overlays. Working above the tongue are a set of tonal laces that match the mini Swoosh found down on the mudguard. Rounding out the look is a cream-colored midsole with an exposed Max Air in the heel, paired with a tan rubber outsole.
The Nike Air Max 1 Safari Cobblestone is scheduled to release exclusively in Europe on June 18, 2022. Coming in men's sizing.
